Another Great Drummer Line Up

I just pulled out another great Contemporary Christian disc from the vault that has an extraordinary line up of drummers. The disc is another one by Bryan Duncan and the title is "Slow Revival". The drummers featured on this disc are: Carlos Vega,John Robinson, Curt Bisquera, and Steve Lantanation. Great groove stuff on here with Neil Steubenhaus on bass holdin it down!! Bryan also has another disc called "Lunatic Friends" which has Carlos and Jeff Pocaro on it. Check them out fellas!!<marquee>"Keep It In The Pocket". PT.</marquee>

Lunatic friends is great. One of my favorites. However, I think it is just Jeff on that one. No Carlos.

My buddy plays for Bryan Duncan... the guy's name is Sam Matthews, lefty drummer, plays GREAT! He is a real monsta! We used to play at the same church, i loved it when he would play before or after me cause i wouldn't have to change the set around cause we are both lefties. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

I just purchased Lunatic Friends based on yoos guys recommendation. I'm looking forward to hearing it. It's got Jeff on it. How bad can it be? [img]smile.gif[/img]

Oh boy. I just got Lunatic Friends based on the recommendations on this thread. I do not intend to offend anyone here, but I was really quite dissapointed. All of those wonderful musicians, brilliantly playing could not disguise the fact that the songs pretty much suck.

This is the type of stuff that initally gave CCM a really bad rap. This album was released in 1991 but sounds hopelessly 80's. A really bad mix of pop and lite fusion.

Oh well, I only paid 10 bucks for it. Jeff sounds great as always though.
